Pachedu and other activists have been advocating to shut down Zimbabwe amid great concern in the collapse of the economy.
In a tweet yesterday they wrote:
Zimbabweans, stay home.
There is no school tomorrow; keep your kids safe at home.
If you travel to work or school, you may not be able to get back home conveniently and safely.
Mangwana has however responded:
This country belongs to millions and will not be shut down by a fringe few aided by howling shouts from a spent foreign politician.
Zimbabweans have defied calls to be unproductive by people that don’t have their interests at heart.
