Zodwa Wabantu has joined celebrities like Boity Thuso, Gigi Lamayne, Baby Cele and Dawn Thandeka King who have a calling to become a sangoma.
The dancer started to embark on a journey to become a sangoma and spiritual healer earlier this year.
Earlier this year the star shared on her Instagram account a picture of herself in traditional sangoma gear holding two horns. She captioned the picture “Nkosazana Yamanzi”.
Zodwa shared that she finally could recognise why she acts the way she does now that she has gone through her journey, including answers to some of her more head-turning behaviour.
She told drum magazine that she knew she was different but never imagined that one day she would be called to be a sangoma.
The initiation process for her to become a sangoma has began and the star is ready to share her sangoma journey to her fans.
The initiation is being done in Cofimvaba; Eastern Cape.
