Tense situation in Mbire as seven people in Chitsungo who were marooned and spent the night hanging on trees as water levels rose in the wake of tropical cyclone Ana were rescued late today.
Member of Parliament for Mbire, Cde Douglas Karoro said the seven were rescued to a safe place by boats.
He said at the moment Mbire is not accessible as bridges have been swept away at Mahuhwe-Mushumbi via Chitsungo, Karoi bridge in Mushumbi and Dande Bridge.
